Facility Status Display Allows Store Personnel to View Alarm and Facility Information Related to Store Operations

ST. LOUIS, Sept 8, 2008 – Today Emerson Climate Technologies, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR), introduced its new Facility Status Display. Compatible with Emerson’s E2 Facility Management System, the Facility Status Display automatically combines system information in an easy-to-access console enabling store personnel to conveniently view alarms and other relevant store information available through the E2 Facility Management System.

With its compact design, the Facility Status Display may be installed virtually anywhere. Retailers may use multiple displays throughout their facility to provide general store information or specific information for each department. The Facility Status Display’s intuitive screens, built-in alarm light and buzzer allow any member of the store personnel to quickly view alarms and other relevant store information, such as high case temperatures or open door alarms. Specific data points may be customized with unique names and text for easy identification as well. Automatic color-coding allows for simple differentiation between those issues that are urgent and those that have already been resolved.  As part of Emerson’s Intelligent Store™ architecture, the Facility Status Display helps retailers protect food quality and improve the operation of their facilities.
